Lilli CARRÉ United States
Lilli Carré is an interdisciplinary artist from Los Angeles, working in experimental animation, print, and ceramic sculpture. She is particularly interested in the open-ended possibilities and histories of the animated body – simultaneously physical and virtual, free of expectations or fixed form. Her animated films have shown in festivals including the Sundance Film Festival, Annecy, International Film Festival Rotterdam, New Chitose Airport Intl. Animation Festival, Ottawa Animation Festival, Guanajuato Film Festival, 25FPS, and the Ann Arbor Film Festival.
She is a 2024 Guggenheim Fellow in Film-Video. She co-curates the annual Eyeworks Experimental Animation Screening Series founded in 2010, and currently teaches in the Experimental Animation program at CalArts.

Stephen VUILLEMIN France
Born in 1986 in Besançon, is an animation director, comic book author, and illustrator.
In 2011, his webcomic ‘Lycéennes’ captured the attention of many media outlets such as Vice and Wired. His first animated short film ‘A Kind of Testament’ premiered at the 2023 Berlinale, was shortlisted for the 2023 academy-awards, and won more than 40 awards in world-class film festivals. In 2024, he contributed to the exhibition “Touch on an absence” in Tokyo along with Japanese artist Tabaimo. He released two books, “Les nourritures extraterrestres”, a comic-book, and “le bonhomme”, a children’s book. He also worked for clients such as Chanel, Stone Island, The New York Times, Marvel Studios, Breuninger, GQ Magazine, and Arte.tv. Previously based in London and then Taipei, Vuillemin now resides in Paris.

YONEYAMA Mai Japan
Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1988, she is affiliated with SSS by applibot. After working in the animation industry, she expanded her practice into illustration and art direction while also directing commercials and music videos. She held her first solo exhibition, “SHE,” in 2019, followed by “EGO” (2021), “EYE” (2023), and “arc” (2025). In 2026, multiple works by her were selected for the Grand Front Osaka art project “ART SCRAMBLE,” marking the first time the project featured more than one work by a participating artist. Through a wide range of media—including animated video installations, LED works, installations, silkscreens, and large-scale relief sculptures—she continues to explore expressive possibilities that transcend conventional genre boundaries.

NATSUME Shingo Japan
Animator and director. In 2014, he made his TV directorial debut with “Space Dandy”. He went on to direct several acclaimed TV series, including “One-Punch Man” (Season 1, 2015), “ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.” (2017), and “Boogiepop and Others” (2019). In 2021, he directed the original TV anime “Sonny Boy”, for which he served as director, scriptwriter and based on. The series received critical acclaim both in Japan and internationally, and was selected for the TV Films Competition at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. In 2022, he directed the feature film “The Tatami Time Machine Blues”. His first original animated feature as director, “ghost – end of night”, is scheduled for release in 2027.

JIN Qiuyu China
Graduated from the Department of Photography, Nihon University College of Art, and studied abroad as an exchange student at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in Germany. Completed an MA at the Graduate School of Global Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, where she is currently enrolled in the doctoral program. Her research specializes in moving image history, photography history, and audience studies. With a particular interest in the curation of experimental moving images and the formation of audience memory, she co-founded the experimental moving image platform non-syntax. From 2021 to 2024, she served as an Assistant Professor at the Nihon University College of Art.
