EXHIBITIONS – NEW CHITOSE 30 Seconds Animation
Summer Holidays
Reviews from Hokkaido Chitose High School Students
- Tokuo-san
- I thought this was going to be a more relaxed animation, but suddenly everything starts moving. The art is so detailed, it’s not only about the “Heno heno moheji” character, every corner of the screen is filled with something, and you’ll find yourself replaying it over and over. I would love the viewers to pay special attention to the change in Japanese letters in the character’s face as his expression changes.
- Yui-san
- What caught my attention in this animation is that only the ground and background around the character are visible. Only depicting the area in his field of awareness directs the viewer's focus solely to the most important elements, making it a very easy-to-watch piece. The way he falls when he sleeps really made me empathize with the feeling of being outside of any type of awareness.
Synopsis
This work is a challenge to eliminate things outside the range of human perception of reality and to depict the cross-sectional view seen from the edge of the range as an animation. The main character, ”Henohenomoheji”, repeats his ideal summer holiday.
