OFFICIAL SELECTION for the Short Film Competition
We are pleased to announce the Official Selection for the Short Film Competition at New Chitose Airport International Animation Festival 2026 (13th edition). From a record 2,949 submissions received from 97 countries and regions, 73 films have been selected across the International, Japan, Student, and Music sections. The selected films will be screened at the festival venues, with the international jury presenting the Grand Prix for Short Film, Japan Grand Prix, New Talent Award, and Jury Special Awards. Sponsored awards will also be presented.
