NHK Minna no Uta - “A Cat’s Philosophy”

Synopsis

Created for NHK’s “Minna no Uta,” A Cat’s Philosophy is an animated short set to an original song by Alliance de chat noir (Kenji Ueda and Kyoko Koizumi), tenderly illustrating the mischievous charm of cats and their quiet relationship with “me.” Set in a nostalgic Showa-era children’s room, the film gently weaves together hand-drawn animation and Blender-based 3D,unfolding in a single continuous shot from morning to night—and into the shared dreamscape of a boy and his cat.
