An author and illustrator of picture books based in Hokkaido, who is involved in character development, among other activities. In addition to reading her picture books to children, she engages in live painting, gives lectures, and makes appearances on TV, radio, and magazines, showcasing a wide range of activities. Her main representative works include the character 'Ezo Momonga' for JR Hokkaido's IC card ticket "Kitaca," the Hokkaido tourism PR character 'Kyunchan,' and the PR character 'Tureppon' for Upopoy (the Symbolic Space for Ethnic Harmony). Her major publications include "Panda Star" (Gakken Plus) and "Randy and the Yellow Truck" (Gakken Plus), among many others.
