Synopsis

A feverish stasis collapses into infinite distraction, spinning on the axis of an algorithm. Time stretches like soft polymer as metamorphoses creep forward frame by frame, suspiciously slow, as if the film were watching me back. Photographic fragments transferred onto clay become Tonermorphs—neither sculpture nor collage. Figures emerge mid-gesture, faces never whole, suspended in their own skin. A non-narrative work scored by electroacoustic and musique concrète composer Andrew Zukerman.

Winston HACKING

Winston HACKING is a moving image artist working with found footage, collage and tactile animation. Using economical materials, he transforms the mundane into the sublime. His films have screened at Videoex, Lausanne Underground Film Festival and OIAF, where he served on the 2025 Official Competition Jury. He has also been invited to present his work at RISD and CalArts and lead artist workshops.
