KAWAJIRI Masanao
Born in Kagoshima in 1987, he studied at Osaka University of Arts before working at an animation studio and founding his own production company. His 2018 short A Japanese Boy Who Draws won numerous awards, including the Noburo Ofuji Award at the Mainichi Film Awards. His distinctive work combines animation with live-action and manga.
