OSHIMA Keitaro

OSHIMA Keitaro completed the master’s program in Subject Education at the Graduate School of Education, Hokkaido University of Education, in 2004, earning a Master of Education degree. In 2012, he was a research fellow at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Based in Sapporo, he currently teaches at Hokkaido Information University. His practice centers on “the deconstruction and reconstruction of moving-image structures,” encompassing both the creation of moving-image works and research into modes of expression. In 2024, “MY SCHOOL” received the Promotional Prize of the Children’s Jury at the 70th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen.
