Synopsis

A puppet animation about a girl with an 8mm film camera remembering her cat, who is no longer with her. The story follows the song’s lyrics and was inspired by a scene from Night on the Galactic Railroad by Kenji Miyazawa.

PROFILE

KUDO Masa

An experimental animation filmmaker from Hokkaido, Japan, currently based in Tallinn, Estonia, studying in Estonia Academy of Arts Animation MA. With the theme of time, space, and memory, she creates animations mainly by drawing or filming frames one by one, using classical techniques such as 8mm film and cyanotype, as well as drawing animation.
