Submit your animated film now, for a chance to be selected for NEW CHITOSE 2026!

Selected short and feature films will be screened in the Official Selection programs during the festival (November 20-24). The International Jury will present awards following deliberation during the festival.

In addition, we are pleased to present the “NEW CHITOSE Digital Signage” category for works of 15 or 30 seconds. Selected works in this category will be presented for a designated period on digital signage throughout New Chitose Airport (Hokkaido, Japan), which serves approximately 25 million passengers annually.

Last year, the festival received over 2700 submissions across all categories. The winners included “God is Shy” (Short Grand Prix, directed by Jocelyn CHARLES), “Endless Cookie” (Feature Grand Prix, directed by Seth SCRIVER and Peter SCRIVER), “Ordinary Life” (Japan Grand Prix, directed by MIZUSHIRI Yoriko), “Silent Panorama” (New Talent Award, directed by Nicolas PIRET).
